How often do you use a pan or pot? If almost every day, then it likely wears out relatively quickly. Changing our daily habits is difficult, and the quality and lifespan of pans and pots vary depending on the manufacturer. Most pans available on the market last between 1 and 2 years. Their lifespan depends on both quality and our usage habits, maintenance, and care.
At the end of their service life, household items are not meant to be thrown into recycling bins, meaning that pans, pots, and other kitchenware end up in general waste. Such metal products take over 100 years to decompose in nature.
That’s why FISSMAN is launching its annual Eco Campaign, during which customers are invited to bring their used pans and pots to Fissman stores and receive a 50% discount on new purchases.
All collected pans and pots are sent to a metal recycling facility, where they are properly processed to reduce environmental pollution risks.
Fissman encourages everyone not to throw away old and unnecessary kitchenware—pans and pots.
As part of the Eco Campaign, any brand, size, or type of pans and pots can be handed in for recycling. The campaign applies to all metal, aluminum, cast iron, and stainless steel pots and pans.
We appreciate your participation and every item that avoids landfills and gets a new life! Campaign participants can turn in their used pans and pots for recycling without purchasing new products.
